Egyptian Exchange “Rings the Bell For Gender Equality “
On 2 March 2015,UN Women Egypt Country office and Global Compact Local Network in Egyptian partnership with the Egyptian stock Exchange-a member of the SSE initiative, rings the Bell in cairo,representing Egypt in these series of global events .
Stock Exchananges around the world are joining UN women and its supporters, including the Sustainable sock Exchanges (SSE) initiative and UN Global Compact, in raising awareness about the importance of gender equality to sustainable development and business by ringing the opening or closing bell.
Objectives
Raise awareness of the importance of private sector action to advance gender equality and the business case for women’s empowerment, Engage the global business community in the Beijing+20 campaign and particularly, the focus area of women’s economic empowerment, Encourage business leaders from around the world sign the CEO statement of support for the women’s Empowerment Principles and highlight how businesses are already taking concrete steps to empower women in the workplace, marketplace and community , Convene champion business leaders and key partners at the country-level to raise awareness for this important issue by ringing the opening bell of stock exchanges around the world.

Communication On Progress Report 2020
Holdipharma reaffirm its commitment as a participant in UN Global Compact by submitting the annual report and posting of a Communication Of Progress 2020 (COP 2020 ) that comprises of a Chairman statement of conitnued support of UN Global Compact, a description of practical actions with regard to the 10 principles & the 17th sustainable development goals of the UN Global Compact, & measurement of outcomes & expected outcomes.
